Delete restoration files and proceed to boot menu

Has anyone out there ever got this message "Delete restoration files and
proceed to boot menu". My mouse and keyboard are frozen, except I was able
to get in and change the bios, but that didn't help. I've been told that you
actually need to select that option "Delete res...... but I don't know how to
select it if the keyboard or mouse won't work.....any suggestions are
welcome. I'm getting desperate.

The message "Delete restoration files" probably refers to your hibernation
file.

Can you get into the BIOS at boot time?

I have no idea where the msg "Delete restoration files and proceed to boot
menu" is coming from but it's doubtful that it's the bios. Why would you
change anything in the bios and if you did, what did you change.

By pressing F2 on Start Up to get into the BIOS and see if these info will

NOTE: Read your MOBO documentation to know how to access the right
settings/options in the BIOS.

You don't do anything while in the BIOS. Getting into it was merely a test
to see if your keyboard works at the BIOS level. It appears that it does. I
would now try to reboot in Safe Mode in order to run Windows with the
minumum number of drivers.

I've done everything the article from microsoft says to do except to select
the delete restoration data and proceed to system boot menu because I can't
seem to select that option. I've pressed the enter key and nothing happens

As the machine boots, right after the bios message
but just before the OS loads...hit F8
and see if you can get into safe mode...

If so, turn off hibernation
then reboot and see if Windows loads normally

Thanks to all who tried to help. I finally did it. All it took was to use
a PS/2 keyboard instead of my usb and use the enter key. So if anyone elses
ever has that problem, which is a know problem to microsoft, tell them to use
a PS/2 keyboard and press the enter key. Again thank everyone!!
