Even though WGA Notification (KB905474) is installed and showing in control
panel - add/remove programs, Automatic update is still wanting to download
them.
Same goes for Windows Media Runtime 9.5 (KB923689 and KB941569)

Thanks,
J.

Try to Access the Microsoft windows Updates site and then Select CUSTOM
and scan instead of Express and let it do its check for updates.
When you repesented with the avilable updates Uncheck these updates which
keep popin-up. Also check never show me this check box by Expanding the Plus
[+] to [-] next the updates.

Another to delete this Folder called Download and updates here:
C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution=
Download
Updates

Run this tool:
http://www.ccleaner.com/download/builds/downloading-slim
Reboot your machine and see if the updates will pop-up if it did uncheck
the check boxes then check the check box for never show me this message again!

Re: Updates still showing

Always state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; Vista SP1) when
posting to this newsgroup, please. Also state your WMP version.

Jason, did you post about this in an earlier thread? If so, please post
any/all follow-up to your original thread.

[WGA Notification tool (KB905474) is frequently updated. Installing any of
the updates is optional.]
