Volume Shadow Copy 0xffffffff error

Hi

I'm having trouble using NTBackup on Windows SBS 2003 SP1.
After running NTBackup, I get the following error:

Volume shadow copy creation: Attempt 1.
Timeout before function completed
Error returned while creating the volume shadow copy:0xffffffff.
Error returned while creating the volume shadow copy:ffffffff

I have tried all kind of solutions that I have found, but none of them
works. Any ideas what to do next?

Have you tried re Registering the DLL's?

net stop vss
regsvr32 /s ole32.dll
regsvr32 /s vss_ps.dll
Vssvc /Register
regsvr32 /s /i swprv.dll
regsvr32 /s /i eventcls.dll
regsvr32 /s es.dll
regsvr32 /s stdprov.dll
regsvr32 /s vssui.dll
regsvr32 /s msxml.dll
regsvr32 /s msxml3.dll
regsvr32 /s msxml4.dll
net start vss

Is there a Great Librabry of .ddl regsrv?

Do google searches on vss. It is cited often enough along with lots of
other wild goose chases.
