window XP home edtion log on

when i try to log on to my user name, for awhile it shows that it actually
signing me on. but in a second or so it will show that its logging me off
right away. Then it just stay there. I tried to start in safe mode, same
thing. Basically it terminates access, what's wrong..????? is my computer
infected? the last thing i did before it is to initiate scan and removes spy
program.... please help......help.....help....

Boot to xp cd,at xp cd boot menu,press r For recovery,select 1 For C:
Press
enter for password,type:Fixboot Agree,type:CHKDSK C: /p Type:EXIT Let
xp start,remove cd.

Chkdsk isn't going to help, Andrew.
