Hi hope someone can help me with this.
We rebooted the sbs2003 sp1 but when it restarted the routing and remote
access stopped working. I have tried kb 840686 but that does not help.

The event view error is:
The currently configured authentication provider failed to load and
initialize successfully. A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine
failed.

I also have other event view errors:
The MAD Monitoring thread was unable to connect to WMI, error '0x8004100a'.
And:
Windows cannot perform filter check for Group Policy object
CN={C3EA2FEE-C0F0-4D95-8B65-668D6A64B499},CN=Policies,CN=System,DC=TrycareLtd,DC=local. Group Policy processing aborted.

The only problems I am getting is from remote workers now unable to access
the system via vpn connections.

I have tried rerunning the wizards and manually disabling & reenabling the
rras but I just keeping getting a dll error.

Anybody any ideas?

I have now done a system state restore from the previous days back up which
hasn't fixed the routing and remote access problem but seems to have gotten
rid of the the other errors.
I also have daily C:\windows backups using backup exec. Should I restore the
one prior to the problem or would that cause more problems?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Craig
