Hi at all,
my problem concerns about the subfolders inside ...\WinSxS\ folder, in
particular the "x86_Microsoft.VC80.CRT_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b*" folders.
These folders have the runtime libraries allowing to run programs,
developed with new development environment VS2005, under WindowsXP
(....VC90.. for VS2008).
When I install for the first time Windows XP, without any service pack, does
it contain these folders? that is ..\WinSxS\ and
"x86_Microsoft.VC80.CRT_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b*" folders? (I installed a fresh
copy of WindowsXP with the Service Pack 3 inside it and after the
installation the ..\WinSxS\ folder has all subfolder I'm talking about)
If not so do these folders come with a Window Update or from a one of the
three service pack of WindowsXP?
If yes could you tell me where these information is on Microsoft site?
Thank you in advance
