Sorry for 2nd post, but last one unanswered. Probably worded too complicated.
I need to know, but can not track down info, what files/libraries are called
by ANY program under win2k when the ''open file'' dialog box is used in any
program. The main part is done within the opening program, but something is
called to get back the drives available and the files on those drives.
Please, can anyone help or provide any clues.
Reason. There are two types of dialog opened by programs. Newer version,
with ''back'' and ''create folder'' icons etc. (where you can edit file
names). This version works for me.
The second is an ''older'' type with just the simple layout (where you can
not edit filenames) and this no longer shows any drives or folders
many thanks
