VSS 12290 Warning Error

I have been getting repeated VSS 12290 warnings in my Windows 1002 Server
event log. Any ideas why? Here are the details of the error...

Volume Shadow Copy Service warning:
GetVolumeInformationW(\\?\Volume{f99f9172-30c6-11dd-ae0b-806e6f6e6963}\,NULL,0,NULL,NULL,[0x00000000], , 260) == 0x00000005. hr = 0x00000000.
