DHCP will not do it. What OS are you using? With 2003 and Xp or higher you
can configuer it with Group policy, go to:
Computer configuration, Administrative templates, Network, DNS client, in
the right pane choose "DNS suffix search list". Read the Description for
more infos.

Thanks for the quick response. Am running 2003 workgroup and XP.
I will use GPO instead.
