I know that I inquired about this awhile back, but I have 2 questions on it.
I can allready hear the collective groan out there and a few "OMG's" but when
I uninstall 2007 before I update to 2008 where does all the quarantined stuff
go? Does it go away with the program or what? And why do you have to
uninstall, doesn't the new one just update the old one?

Re: Ad-Aware08

The collective groan is because you aren't asking in an Adaware forum.

This is really a question for AD Aware itself.

Uninstall is to ensure that all DLL get the correct versions installed
and that the correct "destination" folder is created / used.

As for the quarantined stuff, unless Ad Aware states different, these
can disappear.
