Go to sysinternals.com and download process explorer. It will give you

a much better look at the system resources being used by each

application. You should be able to figure out which program is

leaking.


As the others said: let windows do what it wants with the swap file.

Intelligent design tells us that windows doesn't need a swap file if

you have enough main memory, but windows has never done well when

forced to use main memory by reducing the swap file to a small size.

It will just thrash whatever swap file it has (poor memory management,

but hey, it's MS windows).
