RE: XP Sleep Mode (Shut Down)
Hi K .when you unplug the hard drive.Start the pc with it unplugged. The pc
has its own start program. It will attempt to start the pc.Then it will say it
can,t find hard drive. Then shut it off and plug it in again and try
it.Sometimes it fools the pc into starting.Another thing you might try is
when you fire it up keep tapping the delete button.Sometimes you can get the
boot menu. When i did mine unplugged it waited until it started running the
start program from the pc then i plugged the hard drive in while it was
running. It worked, because it wouldn,t even lite the button before. At any rate
good luck.Tech is great when it works but sucky when it doesn,t.TERRY.
