Hi,
I have a need to reinstall windows 2003 server which is my DC.
When this is done, I will re-create the domain with the same name as it was
before.
For the computers/users that log on to this domain, I have noticed before
that they have to rejoin the domain, and that means that a new 'user' is
created on the client PC. (Under the user directory there is username.001)
Is there away to :
1 - Either backup the domain details so that after rebuilding the server, i
can just restore the domain details, and the client connect as they did
before
2- Have the client PCs connect to new DC without creating a new user
OR
3 register the client computers/users on the server, so that they can
connect as they did before
Thanks
