active desktop recovery

with a P ent,I had to reboot my computer today and when it rebooted Active
Desktop Recovery Screen was there and when I right click my mouse for the
display properties I only had Themes, Apperance, and Settings to chose from
no Desktop what could be the problem? I am running windows xp home edition
have a Asus P4P800 motherboard, with a NVidia GeForce4 Ti 4200 AGP8x, with a
Pentium 4 CPU 2.4 GHz and 1 gig of Ram.

I was able to find the information I needed thanks to everyone here on this
