RE: Windows Update Hangs on Searching for Updates for Windows 2000
Have installation of server 2k, running IE6, trying to run windows updates
hangs IE6. terminating the processusing task manager then does something to
IE that prevents it from ever being able to access microsoft updates again.
Reinstalling IE 6 service pack 1 gets me back but trying to run microsoft
updates locks up the browser and puts me back in the same circle. Has anyone
figured a way out of this?
