I can't seem to find a .NET group but may have missed it somehow. If there is
one, plz advise according and I'll post to there.

I suspected the >net Framework 2.0 installation was not working so I tried
to download and reinstall. I prior to uninstalling existing and then after
uninstalling existing. Both times I rec'd the following err msg:

Setup cannot continue because this version of the .NET Framework is
incompatible with a previously installed one. For more info go to
.....support/kp/articles/q312/5/00.asp.

I went to above link and it provided no help. I have no reference in
Add/Remove Programs to any .NET program and am at a stand still.

Any help on how to fix this problem will be greatly appreciated.
