The screen saver does not work !!!

In my PC (XP Home SP3), works only the screensavers of default (those which
we find installed, with to the O.S...... in order meaning to us.). All those
which I install, and I say just all, I have tried because them, when I try
to enable them: Property - Screen > Screensaver, not they work! I have
setting 1/2 minutes, then Apply > OK, but does not happen just null? The
thing still stranger, is that, clicking on push-button " Try", it works all
to the perfection, but after It applies > OK, passed by far the wait time,
does not happen just null! How I can resolve the problem? Thanks in
advance!!!

I would think you have something active keeping the screen saver from running.
What programs are running and what processes are running?

Re: The screen saver does not work !!!

If you got LCD mon, turning it off is much better(wears mon less).

A working unsecure OS is infinitely better than non-working secure OS.
Just spent 1 week cleaning up the mess WUpdate made preventing

Since life expectancy of monitor is many years the 'less wear' is
insignificant.

The Windows screen savers work. The OS works, what problem is it you are
having with Windows XP? If your issue is some 3rd party software,
perhaps you ask them about their software instead.
