I recently tried to install printer software on a Win2k Terminal Server.
At the end, it asked to reboot, which I did & it looks like the install
hasn't finished, as I get a message about it needing to be in install mode
when it boots up.
How can I fix this?
Thanks-

Mr. Simpson, there are thousands of people like you with no discernable
talent.
Yeah, they're called Congress.

Re: TS 2000 stuck in Install mode?

I'd uninstall the printer software completely.
Chances are, the driver is not compatible with TS and printing will
not work anyway.

Is there a generic print driver I can install in a case like this?

Not really, that's a feature of Windows 2008, and a number of 3rd
party driver-free printer utilities. But you can map the printer to
one of the built-in drivers (that come with the OS).
Here's how:

239088 - Windows 2000 or Windows Server 2003 Terminal Services
server logs events 1111, 1105, and 1106
