general page initialization failed - task scheduler

I am getting this error when i try to edit a task in task scheduler

General page initializaton failed.

The specific error is:

0x80090016: keyset does not exist

An error has occured attempting to retrieve task account information


I have checked that the local system account is running task scheduler
service and set to interact with desktop.

what is the problem?

Google is your friend. I typed this into a Google search box:

"general page initialization failed" "task scheduler"

and more than 500 hits, some of them with step-by-step solutions.
