Hello,
I just noticed this problem when I sent a file to the Recycle Bin, and then
decided that I needed it. The usual method I use is to right click the
desktop and then select UNDO.
Unfortunately, the UNDO command never appears in the right click context
menu. Clicking on EDIT in the menu bar reveals that UNDO (CTRL+Z) is greyed
out. Using the keyboard shortcut CTRL+Z produces no results.
It doesn't matter if I delete a file, move a file, or rename a file the UNDO
menu never appears in the right click context menu nor does the UNDO command
under the EDIT menu ever become activated. It seems the UNDO option is
permanently disabled.
Is there a registry setting controlling this that I can change? I am running
WinXP 64-bit with SP2 slipstreamed. I chose 64-bit over 32-bit because I have
8GB of RAM installed.
