Odd, but I posted a message here in response to yours and even though it is
in my sent items folder saying it was sent to this group in response to your
question, it isn't here online. That's suspicious. Here's my post from
yesterday.
====================================================
I have used picture it in the past but do not know if it has a size limit
for images. I wouldn't think so.
Go into task manager (press ctrl-alt-delete then click the Task Manager
button) and then click on the Performance tab and take a look at your memory
and page file usage. It should give you an idea of how much memory you have
available in each so your problem can be better diagnosed.
As for picture it, what version are you running. I think I have version 7 at
home so just out of curiosity, I'm going to see if I have a very large image
and, if not, I'll try to create one and see if Picture it has any problems.
My system has 1.5 gigs of ram so I don't think I should have any problems
( and I wouldn't think you would either but, you do).
Let us know about your memory statistics. Check it before you open up
Picture It and then again after and note any changes, then try to open an
image that's, say, a meg or two in size and note any changes in memory use
after that.
