I have 56 single file Flash game short cuts in a folder on desktop.
After nearly 2 years they have started appearing in data form and take ages
to transform into their icon short-cuts created by me. Any idea why this has
just started happening? It is also happening in my Spy & Virus folder with
all my 10 short-cuts in there! - Thanks - Andy

Thanks for that but the iconcache.vbs doesn't do the job after logging off
and on.
The only hardware alteration to my system is an extra 1T Buffalo External
Hard drive which is hardly likely to be the cause.
The only software installation is a small app called TimeAdjuster which can
be used on subtitle text files which are associated with subtitled avi movie
files if the sound is poor.
I've noticed however, this only happens on opening a folder for the first
time, until the next boot-up that is!!
Thanks again - Andy
