VSS Errors on Windows Server 2003 R2 x64 w/SP2

Hey guys,

My netbackup software has been failing on all 4 x64 servers I put into
production. After working with Symantec, we've determined that VSS is the
culprit.

Using ntbackup, I tried to do a system state backup on the servers and they
failed. Here is the report from the ntbackup job:

Backup Status

Active backup destination: File
Media name: "Backup.bkf created 8/15/2007 at 1:25 PM"

Volume shadow copy creation: Attempt 1.
Timeout before function completed

Error returned while creating the volume shadow copy: 0xffffffff.

In addition, when the netbackup job attempts a backup, it fails and turns
off the VSS service on the servers. Here is the error log that it generates:
