| Click "Start", "Find", "Files or folders", type "*.LNK" into the
| "Named" box,
| type "C:\" into the "Look in" box and click "Find Now". If you find
| the old
| shortcuts, you can either move them to the current desktop or modify
| the registry to reflect the location of the shortcuts. You may have
| to restart the
| computer for the registry change to take effect.

| Thanks a lot Ben. I found quite a few of the missing Links (Icons)
| using "*.LNK" and sent them back to the desktop where they opened
| effectively. I have replaced others as the need arises. Other more
| important sites are in Quick Launch and thankfully they were not
| disturbed. I am happy now. Thanks again and to everyone else who
| tried to help.
Very well. You are welcome.
