My keyboard has suddenly stopped working.
I'm trying to figure out why.
One possibility, of course, is that it's broken. But before concluding
that, I'd like to explore other possibilities.
And one of those other possibilities is that the most recent Windows XP
Pro update, just installed this morning (with security updates, malware
tool installation, etc.), somehow "broke" it.
Here's the info: it is an "old" Logitech wireless iTouch Keyboard. In
fact, the original CD came with drivers up to Win2K. But as I said, I've
been using it without problems on XP pro all the way up to this morning.
One reason I believe that it *might* be a problem with the update is
that I went to the Logitech site and downloaded the iTouch driver for
XP. When I tried to launch it, I got the message:
"Sorry, this software is not compatible with your operating system. Your
device will still provide basic functionality. The Installer will now
close."
Any opinions on this?
Thanks,
John
