Try this... take ownership of the containing folder or individual files and
delete them, change your permissions if necessary to delete them.

Basic Windows File Permissions (for Windows 2000 but the same for XP)

If that doesn't help, use an application like "Unlocker" or "Delete Doctor"
to delete the files.
