I see a 64 Bit version listed for download

But it's not a full version for x64. See the info at:
http://java.sun.com/javase/6/webnotes/install/jre/install-windows-64.html

It's the same info that has been posted ever since their
first limited package for x64.

Rest assured that the very day they start supporting IE x64 my post will be
in full CAPITALS!

I would fully expect you to do that.

just wanted to point out that it isn't what he would like it
