For the last few days, you have had to endure an endless back-and-forth
between myself and Nick/Mick/Mike Murphy, who has been impersonating me.
Murphy has been posting to these newsgroups in my name. These phony
posts have been, at best, ridiculous and, at worst, revolting. His goal
is to make me look bad. I am receiving this treatment for coming to the
defense of a regular here whose ethnic background was being cruelly
insulted by Murphy.

I have been posting to these newsgroups for some time now. (I do not
normally post to the windowsxp.general group, and I won't any longer
after this post.) The regulars and semi-regulars know who I am. You've
seen me at my best, and at my not-so-best. But above all - you know me.
You know my attitudes and you know how I express myself. I believe you
can tell the difference between a post made by me, and a post made by my
imposter.

From now on, I will no longer respond to posts made in my name by
Murphy. Instead, I trust that you, the readers of these newsgroups, can
distinguish between a real post made by me, and a phony post made by Murphy.

To Murphy:

You are now free to impersonate me at will. You can be outlandish, rude
and vile in my name. You can spread disinformation and wrong information

U really shouldnt even pay any attention to these types or flamers or
nit-pickers. I know the temptation is great but it only encoursges
them & is not good 4 u.

I choose to spend my precious keystrokes helping others & expanding my
KB, not responing to thier never ending rants.

Be consoled by the fact they live a troubled life & any revenge by you
