DDE Server Window Error

I am getting a DDE Server Window:iexplore.exe - Application Error when I
close out Internet Explorer. It reads

The instruction at "0x77555d00" referenced memory at "0x0e2646a0". The
memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program.

I click on OK and it just goes away. It doesn't seem to be all the time, but
often enough that it is annoying. Does anyone have an idea what the problem
is?

Try turning off all the add-ons, and see if the problem goes away. If it
does, turn them back on one at a time till you find which one is
misbehaving.

IE doesn't need to use DDE to transfer information between its own
components, this would be from an add-on not closing a DDE connection
properly.

I know what add-ons are but I am not really sure where to go to turn them
off??

If you have IE7 or 6, it's easy. Go to Tools, Manage Add-Ons.

Hi Patrick

I disabled everything in there and it didn't help. I now think it has
something to do with my email. Comcast just changed our web based email and
is calling it smart zone, it is still comcast. I usually open it and minimize
it because I have to sign into it all the time. I minimize it and get on the
internet for a while and it is when I close out of both windows that the
message pops up. I have noticed that if I don't open my email at all, I don't
get the message. Any ideas?? I called Comcast and their solving is for me to
use Outlook Express because I can get my email that way also, they were of no
help.
