We have 3 file servers running windows 2003 and 2008 on HP proliant
servers. We need more disks in arrays. We have been using so far RAID 0+1.
Is it possible to add extra disk to RAID 0+1 array and extend the size
of the existing logical drive? Or we need to change to RAID 5 level.
We have know two RAID 0+1 arrays:
One array:
500 GB SATA disk
500 GB SATA disk
Second Arrays:
1TB SATA disk
1TB SATA disk
Can we add 4 1TB disks (2 to each array) and extend the logical drive size?
We have Smart Array controlers P800 on all our servers
