Can someone tell if there is the possibility to have the resolution 640x480
256 color available in the Windows XP screen properties withoout to use the
advanced option ?
If I try to run an old windows program with the 640x480 256 colors
compatibilities or by the use of the screen properties-advanced-video
card-modalities list It is very difficult that I will be successfull.
Best Regards

It should not be a problem

just give it a try

Re: minimum resolution windows xp

I used the program in dougknox page, but the result is always the same as
using the advanced option of the screen property or the personalized
resolution of my Nvidia Quadro Fx 1400 card driver. The task bar has a very
ugly appearance and when I run my old windows program, if the graphic window
result includes strings ,the program stops with the message 0002:9A57. Have I
to use also the taskbarplus ?
