I am trying to use special characters that are in the Unicode "Latin Extended
Additiona"l Range (Hex 1E00 to 1EFF) when transliteration some Sanskrit
words. These characters include, for example, m or n with a dot above, d, h,
l, m, n, r, s, or t with a dot below. How can I make these characters
available in my word processors - I use Word and Open Office Write.

Re: Inserting special characters

Either paste the specific characters from Character Map or use the
keystroke method (Alt+ nnnn) if shown in Character Map.
