I am testing Server 2008 terminal Server and the RemoteApp Programs feature.

I deployed Word 2007 and found an issue with the following:

When the users seeks to save or open a document, the dialouge box points to
the Desktop or local drives of the Terminal Server and NOT those of the
local machine. Can this be configured?????

Thanks - Sam

Re: RemoteApp Programs

You can hide the local server drives using Group Policy. You will also
have to redirect the client drives into the session as well. Are you
familiar with both of these options?

Re: RemoteApp Programs

I am only unfamiliar with how to redirect the client drives into the session
by default.

Re: RemoteApp Programs

Drive redirection happens at the client side. I believe, and I don't
have a server in front of me to confirm, that you can specify this using
Group Policy as well.
