Dear All,

I recenlty wanted to print a directory to a file, a website pointed me to
creating a script, changing Folder Options, etc, etc...

So, ok, the Context menu right click worked, so I went to double click a
folder to go into it.... Hmmmm, why is VLC player trying to play the
contents of the folder, not opening it?

So, a bit of research later, tells me (apparantly) if I go into those
options to look, and cancel not ok it, it can mess around with it...

Anyways, I found Doug Knox's, folder_open.vbs, which I hoped would fix it,
it sort of does, but now when I double click a folder, it opens in a new
window, I don't want that, I wanted it to open up with itself, if that makes
sense..

Can anybody help me

Regards
Paul.

Ok, Very weird....

I've closed Explorer windows over the past 10-15 mins, to the point were
I've closed them all, and re-opened a few, and it seems to be ok now?

I'm guessing it just needed to start from fresh?

Regards
Paul.

Re: Folder Opening Corrupted.

Some registry changes don't apply immediately. You may have to logoff and
login back (some require restarting Windows), or restart Explorer.exe via
Task Manager.
