Greetings !!!

I have a very simple query. I want to have one main server and 2nd backup
server.

Now, how i can mirrior my data from one server to another server ?

And how to setup, so when if my primary server fails to boot, my nodes get
the connectivity AND THE DATA from backup server.

Looking for a kind help.

Re: Fail-Over Server

Hello Saurabh,

Do you a domain or only a workgroup?

Check out DFS:

Re: Fail-Over Server

Hello Saurabh,

DFS will group shared folders located on different servers by transparently
connecting them to one or more DFS namespaces. A DFS namespace is a virtual
view of shared folders in an organization.

So you have on your servers a folder with the same content and the user just
see the namespace and not a shared folder.
