The MumbaiITPro User Group, a Microsoft User Group in Mumbai, India

opportunity to its members to join their management team (online /
offline) as well as the Microsoft Virtualization Community Launch
leadership opportunity.
This is an exclusive opportunity to work directly with Microsoft to
host our launch event around Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V, Microsoft
System Center and Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack for Software
Assurance. The Community Launch program provides the technical
training and launch support resources to showcase some of the
technical features of these products within MumbaiITPro.
The Value of being a Community Launch Leader:
* Work directly with Microsoft product groups and subject matter
experts to lead a launch event for MumbaiITPro
* Be the first to receive new and deeply technical training
content for Microsoft Virtualization products
* Gain access to speaker and presentation training from Microsoft
resources and accredited community experts
* You will receive a product oriented technical resource launch
kit to support the event
What we are looking for in a Community Launch leader:
* We are looking for the new leaders in MumbaiITPro who are eager
and able to lead a technical demo and product presentation as part of
a Microsoft Virtualization Energy event we host
* Individuals who are interested in (and capable of) presenting
technical training to broader audiences
* Leaders who want to sharpen their speaking and technical
presentation skills
Enrollment:
* Once enrolled in the Community Launch Portal, you will gain
instant access to valuable resources, event readiness guidance and
support on the Microsoft Virtualization Events
* Special offers and additional services will be added throughout
the launch cycle
Training:
* High Level training available immediately after enrollment
* A premium-class technical training experience with more training
added between enrollment and January 2009
Event Execution:
* Community Launch Event Kits will be made available. We will
provide you further guidance on this later
* The launch event starts early January (after all the initial
procedures like trainings etc…)
* Events provide you with the opportunity to expand community
member’s reach, voice, and stature
On enrolling, you get access to the community portal that provides you
the tools and resources you will need to hold successful launch
events, and to help you manage your launch experience in the event
that you choose to participate in more than one active community
launch at a time. You will be updated regularly with new resources,
training details, and event content to help you prepare for the launch
event through the Microsoft UGSS Community Portal.
