Paired, no. No Office program was ever included with the operating system if
that is what you mean by paired.

Will office 2000 work on Windows XP, absolutely.

If you have a problem we will be glad to try to help but you would need to
post full particulars like machine make and model, version and SP status of
XP and version of Office 2000 you are trying to install.

Hi Ms Blu,

Paired? If you're asking about when XP was introduced, MS conveniently
($$) introduced MSO XP when XP was released.

If you're asking will MSO 2000 run under XP, the answer is yes.

Neither Office 2000 nor any other version of Microsoft Office was ever
paired with Windows XP, nor with any other version of Windows. They
are separate products and are sold separately.

*However* there are several OEM vendors who sell computers (and have
sold computers) that come with both Windows and a version of Office.
That's not a real *pairing* of the two products, but they are examples
of vendors selling the two together along with a computer.
