Dear Sir,
I encountered this issue these days. My customer reported that their server
met this situation after running our system for about 1 month. At that time,
even taskman or notepad cannot open. Because we didn't open perf monitor at
the beginning, it is hard for me to analyze the issue. Below is my 1st
question:
This error message indicate handle leak or memory leak?
Another question is:
I gathered some data by Process Explorer. I found that the sum of all
private bytes of processes doesn't equal to the total comit charge. The total
private bytes are only about 300MB but commit charge is as high as 1.3GB...
I'm totally confused about this. I think if the memory is leaking it should
be at private bytes. So why the total commit charge are so big while all the
processes acutally didn't use so much memory?
