Hello,
I'll admit my mistake first - I stupidly removed a device from a usb
hub that was working fine previously - without the safe removal option
-
The device is an external wifi plugin on a desktop - now it refuses to
work - and seemingly doesn't allow re-installing. This device -
Pheenet 802.11g USB wasn't assigned a Windows digital key - but it did
load up ok the first time - all the problems stem from me pulling it
from the hub.
Every time I re-install, all works fine for a few minutes, then an
'unsafe device removal' box appears and the wifi box and connection
disappear.
I have tried re-installing / fixing with the install disk / removing
drivers / different ports - but all to no avail.
Any ideas?
yours idiotically
Nick
