Hi All,
User has windows XP pro SP2. Problem is that every time he logs in, he gets
an error message that a temporary profile has been created. In trying to
find a solution for this problem, we have renamed all the existing profile
folders (except administrator) on his system and also deleted any references
to unknown profiles in the User Profiles window. I checked his registry
settings and there are no references to his account left. So as far as I can
tell, it should create a new profile in his name, yet every time it creates
a temporary profile.
Although the user is on a network and logs on to our domain at startup, his
profile is supposed to be local. User connects to our network via VPN, so he
is not connected when he logs on.
Is there any way to make a temporary profile permanent?
Thanks,
Brian
