hello. i downloaded some songs in my PC from a friend's cd and some of it
are not playing in my WMP. when i click on a track, i have this: Error ID =
0x80040255, Condition ID = 0x00000000. i clicked details and it has a list of
supported files for WMP. and it says that i must have this "mp2.exe". how
will i make it play on my WMP like all the others? i've checked the file
format and it only says "cd audio format" and has 1KB per song. i have winXP
SP2 and WMP10. hope you can help me like before. TIA!

p.s. i asked here instead in the WMP support coz no MS MVP seems to be
there. :-)

You didn't rip the songs from the CD correctly. The files should be at
least 3-4 meg as MP3's.

Go back and try again.

You're welcome. The 1K size is a giveaway that the ripping process wasn't
successful.
