I got my computer back about a week ago with a new hard drive since the old
one was failing. I planned on installing a game but when I put the cd in,
some lights would flicker, and then nothing happens. I tried in the CD and
DVD ROM, disabled McAfee On-Access Scan, and tried to run it but I can't
because my backslash key does not work. When I push it, I get a W with a line
going through it horizontally, instead.

On my old harddrive(with less memory), the game installed just fine. (Old
harddrive/ware? had 200, new one has 250)

I know playing a game isn't the most important thing in my life, but my
sister paid $238 for the new harddrive so I want it to work. Please help.

Thanks for reading,

I've just discovered that my computer cannot read any disk. Should I take it
back to the repair shop?

Thanks Malke!

It's going back to the shop on Monday.
