Hidden LAN connection

Hello,

I am using XPSP2, and DO NOT have any connection problems with my LAN that I
use to connect to the Internet over DSL.

However, some hidden LAN connections are keeping me from being able to see
the status of an active LAN connection. I can see the status when I am in
safe mode with networking, but not in full mode.

I know I have some hidden LAN's because when I set up a new LAN to try to
fix the problem I get a message something like "if I use the same DNS, etc.,
as the hidden LAN, and then reconnect it, I will have problems". I will not
be reconnecting any hidden LAN's because I only have one card.

I have deleted the old LAN's from my Network folder, but that is somehow
still allowing them to remain hidden. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of
hidden LAN's?

Thanks,
Bob
