On Windows Vista Home Basic Upgrade there is an Old version item Number:
66G-00003. And then they have come out with a New version: 66G-00020. I
ordered the new version and received the Old version, I am wondering what I
missed by not getting 66G-00020. I have looked and can not find any
information regarding the difference.
Thanks in advance,
Sincerely, Brian W.

I think the "new" version contains SP1.

I think you could have figured it out for yourself and not have
bothered anyone.

66G-0003 is Home Basic Upgrade: it requires a qualifying version of
the OS to use and thus costs less to buy.

There is no 66G-00020 - did you mean 66G-0002? That's the full Home
Basic, not the Upgrade. It costs quite a bit more.

Re: What is the Difference between "Old" and "New" version ?

There is new and old version, look at the following web page under Product
Details\Item Model Number:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000HDJT5C/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&seller= .
Vista Home Premium Upgrade has an old and New Version as well.

I think you're just trolling for someone to chat with. I'm outta
here.

Just buy the one you want (probably the cheapest one from all
appearances) and Windows Update will take care of the rest.
