I wanted to make the text on my Inspiron 1520 Windows XP (I running Windows
6.0) just a little bit larger, so I used the Accessibility Wizard.
Instead of increase my font size a bit much, it is 10 times larger. I tried
a number of times to re-do the Wizard but it would go back to my original
settings. I cannot even see 1/3 of an article on my screen. It deleted my
background (which I can reload) but I don't know why it disappeared.
When I turn my computer on, click on IE, everything looks normal until
instead of the page with my background and the icons I use, I have a complete
white page with the icons I use. The icons are of normal size but when I
click on IE and it takes me to my home page the text is 10 maybe 20 times the
size I was attempting. Also, in this process, the tool bar with starts with
File, Edit etc. has disappeared. It had deleted my google tool bar but I
reinstall it.
I attempt to Restore the system to yesterday before I used the Accessibility
Wizard and the result is that there is nothing to restore. I hope someone has
answer because my computer is basically useless in its present condition and
I cannot afford to pay microsoft to ask one of their technicans.
I would appreciate any and all help.
Thanks, Anne
