Hi. I have several users that connects to Win2k03 R2 TS server in order to
run a POS application. Most of this clients has a small POS printer attached
to them. I've installed a compatible print driver on the Terminal server. If
I print from lets say wordpad it prints ok, but If I try to print from the
application itself it does not. I understand the application in configured
to sent the print jobs to Lpt1:

Any ideas?

regards,

Elvyn

Check this FAQ:

My old DOS application needs to print to LPT1. How can this be done?

Re: printing to LPT1: from POS application

Vera,

What I did was to share the printer at the client and then map port Lpt1: to
that printer at the TS server and it works. How is this different from the
way that you pointed out?

regards,

EG

Re: printing to LPT1: from POS application

If you do it as administrator, then the same printer is available
to all users of the TS. I thought that you wanted several different
users each to be able to redirect their own LPT printer.
