It easy to find out. If they are needed and you don't provide them the
install will fail,...if the OS already has them included and is therefore
"aware" of them, then the install will continue.
If they are needed then they must be provided during the install. In 2003
and older you hit F6 durning the beginning of the Install and then had to
provide the drivers on a floppy (may require a USB External Floppy drive if
the server has none built it). I don't know if 2008 operates the same way
or not.
