Ok here's the deal, I used choose program on a .sav file (originally didnt
have a program selected) and I messed it up, all I want is to make it go back
to its original state, well, all of them since they are all messed up. Please
if you can help i've been browsing the web for over a week looking for
answers and can't find any, I guess Im not looking in the right spot, EMAIL
ME!

a .sav is a save file most games make, like byond and vba.
I have Windows XP running on a Sony Vaio.
Any answers or questions PLEASE send them to my email because I find this
forum confusing and I need the help, thank you!!

Re: Help!

you can remove the
program that you associated
to that extension in two
ways.

one way is to open my
computer>tools>folder
options>file types.

then run down the listing
to find that extension and
then click on the buttons provided
to reprogram it.

if it seems a little tricky, you
can gain some insight as to
how to program extensions
by simply reviewing some of
the others that you are familiar
with that are also on the listing.
---------------

the other option is to open
the registry and simply do
a "find" for that extension.

when you get to that key
you can then delete it or
reprogram it.
