I had to do a new installation of XP, i installed the wireless adapter to
pick up my internet (6) and i can see the wireless network, but i noticed
that it said 'connected to wireless but cannot find the internet' - (APIPA)
given. Released/Renewed IP but would not renew. Disconnected Wireless USB,
put back in and it found the internet for one minute then lost it again. Have
tried everything with DNS, checked the router settings for MAC filtering etc
to no avail. Have not encountered this before.
NB It is XP SP1 / IE6, havent been able to install SP2 yet. Does anybody
have any idea what it could be
