Windows Vista It would be REALLY funny if this happened!

Comment before story: Microsoft wants everyone to forget about vista. Vista
has been a total failure for them and they wish that somehow magically it
would go away once they release windows7.

Story:

After windows7 is released someone calls Microsoft Tech support for help
with his Vista OS.

Man -Hello, I have a problem here with windows

Tech: Sure Sir I am glad to help you. What version of windows are you using?

Man: Windows Vista

Tech: Can you repeat that Sir?

Man: I said Windows VISTA!

Tech: There is no such version of windows. Perhaps you are mistaking it with
something else? XP or Windows7?

Man: OF course not! It says windows vista by Microsoft!!!!

Tech: It is probably a pirated and altered copy. Microsoft never had any
product named Vista.

Man: Are you out of you mind??? HERE! Ill go to the microsoft site and PROVE
you Vista exists!

after some searching for a few minutes on the MS sites, MAN: Hey I cant find
anything on the microsoft site about vista! How did you do that??? I can
swear this site was full of pages about vista!!!

Tech: See? Sorry Sir I cannot help you, if you want assistance you will need
to install Windows7. Thank you for your time!

Ohhh but that's the normal replacment or growth that you would see with any
microsoft OS because it comes preinstalled on new pcs...

I don't see them forcing you to get linux or macOSX (even if it was
possible) on your PC. But they have gone in great lengths to not only get
windows
but for people to get vista specifically nice they have forefully stoped
OEMs from installing XP even if demands are high.

Tell us also how many of Vista's "sales" are due to it being
preinstalled in new boxes?

It is Microsoft that gave up on the brand name Vista. Try and talk

Windows 7 is oh my gosh...apparently going to be called just Windows
7. Not Vista 2, Not New Vista, Not improved Vista, nothing to do with
Vista, but I bet underneath it will still be Vista. If I'm going too
fast for you maybe you should consider repeating the 4th grade or did
you drop out of school in the 3rd grade?
